It still feels a little unreal that we are finally here. Somehow, all the conversations, late-night calls, random messages, little jokes, quiet moments, misunderstandings, apologies, and all the days we spent getting to know each other brought us to this moment. And honestly, I could not be more grateful that they did.

I want you to know how thankful I am for you.

Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for letting me into your life and allowing me to see the different sides of you—not only the happy and playful version of you, but also the tired, emotional, quiet, vulnerable, and imperfect parts. I treasure all of them because they are all part of the person I fell in love with.

Sometimes I still wonder why you chose me when there are so many people who could be there with you physically. Someone who could take you on dates, hold your hand, see your smile in person, and be beside you whenever you need someone. Meanwhile, I am here loving you from a distance, doing what I can through messages, calls, and little reminders that I am always thinking of you.

But every time you reassure me, every time you choose me again, and every time you remind me that distance does not change what you feel, I realize how lucky I am.
